  • Where do I find my Healthcare/Treatment plan?
    All treatment plans and shared items will be located under your documents tab in your JaneApp account.
  • Can Naturopathic doctors order laboratory testing and functional testing?
    Yes! Naturopathic doctors can order and interpret lab investigations and functional tests. Please note the laboratory testing and requisition is not covered by OHIP. Lab tests are priced individually and are subjected to credit card processing fees. Contact me to view available labs and prices.
  • Are your services covered by OHIP?
    No. Naturopathic treatments and lab investigations are not covered by OHIP. All visits and purchases are provided with an itemized receipt which contains all the necessary information to be claimed by extended benefits.
  • Is hyperpigmentation after facial acupuncture a concern?
    No, bruising is more common which itself is not common. The needles used are Serin needles and are very tiny, though it does cause the inflammation needed to stimulate collagen production. The possibility of hyperpigmentation, inflammation or HPI’s, bruising and hematoma are low to rear.
  • If I do labs through Panacea Massage, how does that work?
    The Lab investigations will be discussed in session before ordering, in addition, you will be sent a list of the labs along with a quote. Once we have received your consent to charge your card on file for the cost of the labs you will be sent your Life Labs requisition to be filled at any Life Labs near you. Please note that you can book an appointment at https://www.on.mycarecompass.lifelabs.com/locationfinder A copy of your results will be shared with you for your keeping
  • Where can I get Naturopathic supplements?
    You can purchase supplements at your preferred health store or via FullScript, an online dispensary. Please ensure you are ordering the correct item if choosing to purchase your products elsewhere to ensure efficacy of treatment plan. All supplements are priced individually and subject to HST.
  • What to bring to my first appointment?
    Any past blood work done within the past year. A list or picture or all the medications and or supplements you are taking prescribed and not prescribed. This is important as it is to ensure safety and reduce/eliminate any risk of drug interactions with treatment. If you’re visit is in person you can bring a pair of shorts (optional).
