My Process

Welcome to a journey of holistic healing and personalized care, where understanding your unique health story forms the foundation of effective treatment. Let me guide you through the transformative power of naturopathic counseling and support you in reaching your health goals.

 

Consultation & Health Evaluation: Establishing Your Health Foundation
This stage is all about investigating your concerns, assessing both your personal and family health history to rule out any red flags and get a sense of your terrain. We’ll discuss the impact of nutrition and other stressors on your health, and conduct a physical assessment to further understand your overall well-being. Together, we’ll identify what strategies work best for you, determine areas where you may need additional support, and remove obstacles hindering your progress. By aligning with your goals and working within your capacity, we set realistic expectations for what optimal health and health span will look like for you.

 

Lab Testing & Data Collection
As part of our evaluation, we may incorporate lab testing and assessments to gather the necessary data, helping to uncover any underlying factors contributing to your health concerns. This stage allows us to analyze your unique physiology and gain deeper insights into your overall health.

Data Analysis & Personalized Health Plan
With the information gathered, I’ll analyze the data and create a treatment plan that is specifically designed for you. This plan is personalized to align with your unique needs, and I will guide you in integrating holistic practices and therapies to optimize your health and well-being.

Progress Review & Support

This stage is where we check in on your progress, retest any relevant markers, celebrate your wins, and provide support for any challenges. It’s also an opportunity to address any new concerns that may have arisen. We recommend 60-minute sessions to ensure there’s ample time to review your progress and discuss any updates or new issues.

 

  • Please note that this process is not linear. My role as your doctor is to educate you on your treatment options, guide you in understanding your physiology, and support you in achieving a long, optimal health span. Manual therapies, acupuncture, and other personalized treatments can be incorporated as part of your ongoing care to further promote healing and wellness.

 

Treatment types

Initial appointment ( 90 minutes): Building your Health foundation 

Your health history is key to creating a personalized treatment plan. During our initial appointment, I will take the time to fully understand your past and present health concerns, lifestyle, and goals. This comprehensive exploration ensures every recommendation is tailored to your individual needs, laying a strong foundation for your wellness journey. The treatment plan given in this visit reflects establishing the pillars of health. 

 

First Follow-up (60 mins): Crafting Your Path Forward
In this session, we revisit your health story, interpret any lab investigations completed, assess any progress and evolution of concerns in order to refine your treatment plan. The focus will be on ensuring the treatment plan resonates with you and is aligning with your goals, with any necessary adjustments made to stay on the most effective path to wellness. 

 

Follow-up (60 mins) In-Person/ Virtual

 As part of our evaluation, we may incorporate Physical examinations and neurofunctional assessment helping to gather necessary data uncover any underlying factors contributing to your health concerns.  All to analyze your unique physiology and gain deeper insights into your overall health.

 

Follow-up (45 mins) In-Person/ Virtual: Continuous Support for optimal Health

In these sessions, we check in on your progress, retest any relevant markers,. monitor your ongoing progress, make necessary adjustments, and continue to align your treatment plan with your health goals. Through regular communication and feedback, we ensure you remain on track toward sustained health improvements.

Quick Follow-up (30 mins) In-Person/ Virtual: Convenient Check-ins
For those looking for flexibility or quick updates, my quick follow-ups offer a convenient way to stay connected to your health journey. These sessions allow you to address specific concerns or receive brief guidance, all from the comfort of your home.
